About Us
The Little Red Schoolhouse is located in the town of Clarence and has been family-owned and operated since 1981.
Margaret Kiesel and three of her daughters have strived to make The Little Red Schoolhouse a special place for children, families and teachers.
There is a large outdoor play area that is separated by fencing for each age group. The school age playground includes a tennis court. Field trips, special guests and many "hands on" fun activities are included in our program and curriculum.
Parents are welcome anytime and their involvement is valued and encouraged. We love it when parents share their interests, hobbies, talents, cultural backgrounds and even favorite recipes with our school. Parents may come in any day to have lunch with their child in the classroom. We continue to support parents in their role as their child’s first teacher. We like our parents stopping by to see what is going on in the classroom.
We have security items in place at our school. There is a swipe card system for signing in and to monitor attendance. An intercom system is located in each classroom. There are security cameras, a buzzer for entry, a fire and security system and observation windows in each classroom. Our latest purchase is a full building backup generator, just in case!
We are New York State licensed (#39403) and open year round.
