Our Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program at The Little Red Schoolhouse, in collaboration with the Clarence School District, strives to provide a learner-centered and educationally based program for your child through a caring, nurturing and creative environment. All of the readiness skills are aligned with the New York State Learning Standards.
Our program is from 1:30PM - 4:00PM, 5 days a week for 180 days per year.
We follow the Clarence School District calendar (with a few exceptions).
Parents need to apply through the school district. Children are placed through a lottery system. There is usually a parent meeting at the High School where applications may be picked up. We do offer wrap-around care before and after this program, based on $13.50 per hour. If you would like more information, please give us a call to set up a tour.
The lottery process will end sometime in April. The parents will be notified through the school district office. The Little Red Schoolhouse is given a list of student names that have been assigned to us. We will contact each child to begin the registration process for our school after this date.
